This year we had the pleasure of collaborating with Scott Straka Art, who is an artist friend of ours that we do a lot of horror conventions with throughout the year! The designs that are pictured are a few of his newest original illustrations, and he thought making a few teas using them would be pretty cool. When he asked if we would be interested in collaborating, I (of course) said yes, and was very excited that he pretty much trust me to just make whatever blends I wanted to for these!
I tried to use the artwork as my inspiration for the flavor profiles that I ultimately ended up going with for each. I hope that you all will enjoy my tea interpretations of them! If you went to Monster Mania this year, you may have had the opportunity to pick up one of these new blends at Scott's table! Some of our BrutaliTeas Backstage patrons were also able to try these previously unreleased blends (a perk of one of our tiers)! The teas had such a nice response at conventions, that we decided to add them online for all to enjoy! Check 'em out, and give Scott Straka Art a follow while you're at it! |
